If not mistaken u can get some comparision in previous thread about similar topic. Perhaps u can list out what u already knew so that you would get feedback about something you expected.

23 posts · Joined 2005. #8 · Mar 26, 2006. I know the 03/04's had a smaller hotside but isn't the 05 evo 8 turbo and the 06 evo 9 turbo exactly the same? I was told this by a mitsu mecahnic. The both have a 10.5 hotside and the only really difference between those two years as far as hp is concerned is the mivec.

For reference, a stock 2003 Evo VIII makes about 205whp on this dyno. A stock IX and X both make in the vicinity of 215-220. Here is an overlay of my car and Eric’s IX from the pictures. He just ordered some Ultimate Racing bits of his own, so his car should pick up a good bit of power after installation and retune.
